Hello, my name is Florence and I'm a self taught artist. My story begins in 2004. While in New Hampshire I fractured my ankle. Having excessive time on my hands I found a box of pastels and sketchpad.
I decided to try a painting of a friend's barn. To my amazement the drawing looked just like the photo.
I then continued and did four more pictures before starting work on the note cards. As I have had no training in art it has to be an apparent gift. There has not been any picture too difficult, though when I start I often think, no way.

Say Hello to my Maggie
Maggie has been my inspiration for the publishing of my first book "The Calf and The Dog a true story". I would also like to give a big thank you to Alan Rodriguez Photography for his time in building f2notecards.net and the super photos of Maggie.
